HabitCash — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how VS Projects (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the HabitCash mobile application (“the App”). By using HabitCash, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Data Stored on Your Device Only

HabitCash stores all your personal data locally on your device. This includes your display name, habits, completion history, savings goals, badges, treats, and app preferences. This data is never uploaded to our servers. If you uninstall the app, this data is permanently deleted.

Analytics Data (Anonymous)

We use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to collect anonymous usage data. This includes information such as which screens are viewed, which features are used, and general app performance metrics. This data does not identify you personally. It contains no names, email addresses, financial account information, or other personally identifiable information (PII).

Crash Reports

We use Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, to collect crash reports when the App encounters an error. These reports contain device type, operating system version, and technical details about the crash. They do not contain any of your personal habit data, savings information, or financial details.

Subscription Data

If you purchase HabitCash Premium, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to verify your subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, payment details, or any habit data. Payment information is handled exclusively by Google Play and is never accessible to us.

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number
  • We do not collect any financial account information (bank accounts, credit cards, or payment details)
  • We do not collect your location data
  • We do not require you to create an account or register
  • We do not sell, trade, or rent any data to third parties
  • We do not serve advertisements of any kind
  • We do not use cookies or web beacons (the App is a native mobile application)

Third-Party Services

HabitCash uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Data Security

Your habit data, savings goals, and preferences are stored exclusively in a local database on your device. We do not operate any servers that store your personal information. The anonymous analytics and crash data transmitted to Firebase are encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS encryption.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information to the best of our ability.

Data Retention

All personal data (habits, goals, savings history, preferences) is stored locally on your device and is retained only as long as the App is installed. Anonymous analytics data collected by Firebase is retained according to Google’s standard retention policies. Crash reports are retained for up to 90 days.

Delete Your Data

Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You can delete all your data by:

  • Using the “Reset Data” option in the App’s Settings screen
  • Uninstalling the App from your device

No request to us is necessary — your data is entirely in your hands.

Children’s Privacy

HabitCash is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information.

Links to Other Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Google Play for subscription management). We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site or service you interact with.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date at the top.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
